Barry (Executive VP Production and Creative Services)
Personal Manager and Producer of live stage and television, Barry Bookin brings to each production his theatrical vision and the ability to secure a fine blend of carefully selected talent.
Barry also has acted as Executive Producer for large scale events such as The America’s Cup 95’. In 1993, he joined World Cup Soccer as VP of Entertainment and Ceremonies creating and implementing nine opening ceremonies, a closing ceremony, and 52 half-time shows. All of which took place within 30 days in nine cities and were broadcast throughout the world. Barry has worked with entertainers and sports figures to include: Peggy Fleming, Robin Cousins, Ester Williams, John Schneider, Carol Lawrence and Wil Shriner.
Barry produced “Symphony of Sports” for ABC Sports. This was a 90 minute television special blending the talents of Olympic gymnasts and Olympic figure skaters. The following year he repeated his role as producer for an encore production of the special; this time for NBC Sports.
Currently, Barry is Executive In Charge of Production for the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame Awards and continues to develop television and film projects.
